Spanish food is one of the most popular, liked and enjoyed foods, it is also known as people’s cuisine and it is a fact that Spanish food is fresh and full of taste that is why people love to eat Spanish. Americans has ending less desire of Spanish food because we know to enjoy the taste of international food and culture. One of the most interesting things in Spanish cuisine is its simplicity and its beauty. It is a fact that many of the Spanish food dishes are same to same with cooking methods and ingredients with hundred or two hundreds more years before, but with passage of time and also with influences of Europe and America many changes were adapted in Spanish cuisine.

Like all other world cuisine Spanish cuisines also vary in each region of Spain from province to province and the techniques, ingredients and style of cooking changes from region to region. One of the reasons of this difference is the nature because the weather and other soil conditions are very much different from one region to other.
Spanish food basically contains two important ingredients that are available locally and other regional crops. The common ingredients of all the cuisine of Spanish food are olive oil and garlic as Spain is rich in producing olive oil and olive tree are grown in different parts of the Spain. Onions, oregano, rosemary and thyme are also used in the famous dishes and are known as popular ingredients of Spanish food.
Some of the Spanish dishes are very famous and are eaten in all over the world. Ham is one of the very tasty and rich Spanish foods and in Spain it is called as jamon. In Spain Ham is the most wanted and a high price food as people take the Ham seriously and pay smart for one of the best quality. You will get very different menus in each supermarket or hotel but you will see the Ham on the top because of its popularity.
As Spain has wide costs with its borders, Spanish cuisine is therefore rich in fish and seafood. You will got variety of seafood in Spain such as the halibut, shrimp and even octopus is also available in the Spanish menus.
Cheeses and desserts have also there position in Spanish cuisine and one can get different varieties of Spanish desserts. Well-known cheeses and desserts are the manchego, La Mancha, Tetilla and Cabrales. The Spanish cheese can be taken as tapa as well you can eat this with meals.
Meat is also well addressed in Spanish cuisine and is very commonly used and eaten. Beef, Lamb and Pork are grilled over the coals in a sauce to produce quality meals. The most preferred technique of Spanish people is sucking lamb and pig. Roasted meat is also very famous dish on festivals and holidays.
Spanish cuisine contain lots of fresh and juicy fruits as snacks or as last course in meals and you will get very suitable position in the menus of hotels and supermarkets of Spain. You can also see a variety of salads and sautéed vegetables in the menus. Popular dishes that contain fruit as ingredients are eggplant and zucchini.
